Sensors and Angle of View

This page is very technical. I have in mind people who consider getting some photo equipment and need additional specs.

Some sensor names have different dimensions. For example APS-C is adopted as a name for Nikon DX and corresponding Sony sensor. APS-C Canon is listed separately. If you use APS-C instead APS-C Canon will give you +/- one degree difference.

Image sensor size is the most important element for picture quality in sense of sharpness. A bigger sensor is a better choice most of the times. I tried to list as many sensors as I could find.
